Support
Email support@readglot.com. Please include your device, the app version (shown at the bottom of Settings › Account & more › Help & feedback) and, for a translation problem, the sentence. We usually reply within a few days. In the app, Settings › Account & more › Help & feedback › Report a problem opens an email with this filled in.
Books
Which books can I open?
EPUB, FB2 and TXT files you have the right to use. Tap “Add a book” in the library and choose the file. DRM-protected books can’t be opened.
Where are my books stored?
On your device and, if you’re signed in, in your own iCloud Drive (iOS) or Google Drive (Android), in a “Readglot” folder. Readglot never uploads book files to its server — only the book list, reading position and bookmarks sync through your account.
A book says “Not on this device”
Wait until iCloud or Google Drive has finished syncing and try again, or choose the same file again.
Translations
How do I translate?
Press and hold a word to see its translation, dictionary form and pronunciation in context. To translate a phrase, drag across the words and tap Translate.
A translation looks wrong
Translations are generated by AI and can be wrong, especially for rare words or idioms. Send us the sentence and the translation — it helps us improve.
What is sent for translation?
Only the selected words with the surrounding sentence, never the book. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
